For the first time in the country, 3 real sisters were selected in IAS, all three became Chief Secretaries in Haryana

There is no doubt that IAS is one of the most competitive exams not only in India but in the whole world, which is really hard work to pass. Many things related to the IAS exam are often heard, which leave us astonished and one such story is of 3 real sisters Keshni Anand Arora, Meenakshi Anand Chaudhary, and Urvashi Gulati. It is these three real sisters who became IAS and not only this, but all three also held the post of Chief Secretary of Haryana.

Keshni Anand Arora, Meenakshi Anand Choudhary, and Urvashi Gulati are the daughters of JC Anand, retired professor of Panjab University. Keshni Anand Arora was the Chief Secretary of Haryana till 30 September 2020, who took over this post on 30 June 2019, but before that, her two elder sisters Meenakshi Anand Chaudhary and Urvashi Gulati have also sat in the same post. Keshni was the 33rd Chief Secretary of Haryana and the 5th Woman Chief Secretary.

Apart from Keshni, her two sisters Meenakshi Anand Choudhary and Urvashi Gulati have also been the Chief Secretaries of Haryana and two other women who have been Chief Secretaries in Haryana are Promila Issar and Shakuntala Jakhu. Keshni is a 1983 batch IAS officer and was made the Chief Secretary replacing DS Dhesi, a 1982 batch IAS officer.

Keshni’s sister Meenakshi Anand Chaudhary was a 1969 batch IAS officer who held the post of Chief Secretary of Haryana from 8 November 2005 to 30 April 2006, while her second sister was a 1975 batch IAS officer Urvashi Gulati who served from 31 October 2009 to 31 October 2006. He held the post of Chief Secretary in Haryana between March 2012. Keshni had also achieved this position by following the path of her two sisters.
