The USMNT Starting XI has an average age of 25 years, 34 days, and an average of 30 caps overall.
Anthony Hudson, the coach of the USMNT, will make seven changes to the Starting XI that faced Grenada on Friday, with Sergiño Dest, Antonee Robinson, Miles Robinson, Tim Ream, Yunus Musah, Daryl Dike, and Alex Zendejas taking their places. Eight players from the 2022 FIFA World Cup roster will start tonight against El Salvador: Sergiño Dest, Weston McKennie, Yunus Musah, Christian Pulisic, Tim Ream, Gio Reyna, Antonee Robinson, and Matt Turner.

Miles Robinson will return to the USA lineup for the first time since suffering a torn Achilles last May for Atlanta United. Robinson last played the night the USMNT qualified for the World Cup on March 30, 2022, against Costa Rica and led all center-backs with 11 appearances in World Cup qualifying. Robinson also scored the first of his three international goals at Exploria Stadium, heading home from close range in the USA’s 7-0 win against Trinidad and Tobago on Jan. 31, 2021.
Daryl Dike, a former Orlando City striker, will make his 10th USMNT appearance tonight in the familiar confines of Exploria Stadium, earning his first start since July 29, 2021, against Qatar. The 22-year-old began his professional career in Orlando, scoring 18 goals in 35 matches for the Lions from 2020-2021. Alex Zendejas will also earn his first start in official competition. The Club America winger became cap-tied to the USA and scored his first international goal in last Friday’s 7-1 win at Grenada.
With a goal and two assists on Friday night, Christian Pulisic will continue to ascend the USMNT’s offensive scoring charts. With 57 caps to his name, the 24-year-old already has more goals and goals+assists than any player in USMNT history at the same point in their international careers and sits just behind Landon Donovan and Eddie Lewis on the assists list. Pulisic’s four goals at Orlando’s Exploria Stadium are the most at any ground he’s represented the USMNT. Three of those goals came a year ago today when he tallied a hat trick in the 5-1 win against Panama to put the USA on the doorstep of World Cup qualification.
